Overview.

Glass float flowmeter belongs to the variable area flow meter, mainly used in chemical industry, petroleum, light industry, medicine, fertilizer, chemical fiber, food, dyestuff, environmental protection and scientific research and other departments, used to measure the flow of single-phase non-pulsating (liquid or gas) fluid.

Corrosion-resistant flowmeter is mainly used for corrosive liquid, gas medium flow detection, such as strong acids (except hydrofluoric acid), strong alkalis, oxidizers, strong oxidizing acids, organic solvents and other corrosive gas or liquid medium flow detection.

The measuring cone tube of LZB type uses smooth conical glass tube, and LZJ type uses ribbed conical glass tube.

Working principle.

The main measuring element of the flowmeter is a vertically mounted small conical glass tube and the float that can move up and down inside the tube. When the fluid flows through the conical glass tube from the bottom up, a pressure difference is generated between the upper and lower float, and the float rises under the action of this differential pressure. When this rising force, the buoyancy force and viscous force on the float and the float's gravity equal, the float is in equilibrium position. Therefore, the fluid flow through the flowmeter and the float rise height, that is, with the flowmeter circulation area there is a certain proportional relationship between the float position height can be used as a measure of flow.
